Lunchtime

Lunchtimes are staggered to ensure that all children have time to eat with their friends and are safe on the playground. The children are supervised by a dedicated team of mid-day staff.

EYFS - 11:45 to 12:45

Key stage One - 12:00 to 1:00

Key stage Two - 12:30 to 1:30

All children in EYFS and Key stage One are eligible for a free school meal every day.

Parents of children in Key stage two can purchase a meal for £2.40 a day.

All meals have to be preordered on Parentpay and paid for in advance. This ensures that the kitchen prepare the right quantity of meals and we avoid waste and unnecessary expenditure. Please visit https://www.parentpay.com/ to make meal bookings, there is also a guide attached to help if required.

All the school meals are freshly prepared on site using local produce wherever possible and the menus are designed to meet the food standard requirements for schools, ensuring they are healthy and balanced.

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch if they wish, we request that no fizzy drinks or sweets are included.

Nut Free School

We have a number of children in school who have severe nut allergies so we kindly request that parents do not send their children in with nuts or nut based products in their packed lunch or for a snack. This means that the following items should not be brought into school:

- Packs of nuts
- Peanut butter / Nutella sandwiches
- Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts
- Chocolate bars or sweets that contain nuts
- Sesame seed rolls (children allergic to nuts may also have a severe reaction to sesame)
- Cakes made with nuts
