We have a number of children in school who have severe nut allergies so we kindly request that parents do not send their children in with nuts or nut based products in their packed lunch or for a snack. This means that the following items should not be brought into school:
- Packs of nuts
- Peanut butter / Nutella sandwiches
- Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts
- Chocolate bars or sweets that contain nuts
- Sesame seed rolls (children allergic to nuts may also have a severe reaction to sesame)
- Cakes made with nuts
We will be taking part in National Anti-bullying week from the 16th to 20th November with a range of activities and lessons in school. To start the week off we will be taking part in Odd Socks Day on Monday 16th November. Join Mr Marriott, who is well known for his odd socks, in choosing your best pair of odd and wacky socks and wearing them to school on the 16th!
Children in Need - Mufti Day - Friday 13th November.
We do not need to make any changes to school procedures in light of the national lock down however I would like to remind parents of a few measures we already have in place that must be followed:
* only one parent / carer to bring or collect children to and from school.
* wait in a socially distanced manner from others when bringing and collecting children.
* messages for class teachers and the office should be sent via email, classdojo or by ringing school and ideally not given in person.
No one should be coming to the school office unless they need to bring or collect a child for an appointment. Children MUST NOT BE LATE for school as this compromises our Covid safety measures in school when children arriving late have to walk through other bubbles of staff and children.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
Please read the article in news for more information.
We would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to our school – this is Beau who will be our new school dog.
Please see attached poster with information regarding illness and Covid symptoms.
